I came here to get a few inches taken off and because I have a lot of hair, it needs to be layered. My stylist was really nice but, she cut my hair extremely uneven. I didn't notice anything at first until someone mentioned it to me at work, which is embarrassing to say the least. I went to a different salon and they had asked me if I had gotten my hair cut by them and I said, "no." And that stylist said, "good, because we would've refunded your money if that was the case because your hair is really uneven in the back and the cut is sloppy." So anyway, nice people at the Regis salon and they have a nice selection of products for your hair but, cutting the hair is not their strong suit.

I am furious with my experience the manager was nice but not too helpful in helping me design my hair. I had a lot of questions and I told her I was nervous to get it done because I don't get my hair done very often and I was going to see my husband graduate from US military officers school and I wanted to look good. She treated me as if i was silly for being nervous. At the end of my cut and style I went to check out and presented my 50% off coupon which said "50% off Regis salon services" plural. When She rang me up she said it only applies to one service so ill apply it to the more expensive one. I explained that the coupon was not clear but she stated "we see these all the time and (services) does not mean multiple..." SO I was frustrated with that, she is the manager and would have been able to accommodate but choose not to. When I signed the receipt I paused for a minute because it seemed so high. but i figured it was because it was not 50% off all of it. I only asked for partial highlights =32.50 with the 50% off coupon and a shampoo, (conditioner), cut and style which on the website said 39$. Now, on Monday, I am looking back on my receipt and realized that I was also charged without my knowing 1$ more than what the website(39$)says would be the cost for a shampoo, (conditioner), cut and style to equal 40$. and 15$ because i started with longer hair (which if I had known that I would have chopped off the 2 or 3 inches she did, my self. My hair was just below my shoulders not lower...), and 10$ for conditioner I never asked for. In fact I told her I never use conditioner and when I do I only use it on the tips. and she said that is good. So I was charged 21$ more than I should have been. I would have gladly paid what I was expecting 39$+ 32.50 = 71.50$. I was charged twice for conditioner and for having hair longer. than my shoulders so beware. She would not show me the itemized list of services until after I gave a tip and signed and at that point I was so frustrated that I took the receipt and left. I will never go back and I would never tell anyone to go to Regis Salons and actually advise against it as my experience currently stands. Thank you, Kathryn Wagner
