Visited Rens for brunch last week and had a nice time. The place is brand new and clean. Trendy and fun atmosphere. Its located in downtown Decatur so parking can be a pain very limited free parking. We ordered a sweet and spicy omelette that was ok, but not very spicy. The biscuits and gravy was a large portion and the biscuits were nice, but the gravy was lacking flavor. The chicken sausage in the gravy tasted more like chunks of deli/cold-cut chicken. If I went back, I would like to try the pancakes or something sweet. The owners were very nice and came to our table many times to check on us and assure us that the entire place is halal, no pork or alcohol on the premises, alhamdulillah.

As someone whose go-to comfort food is any dish at Budi’s Sushi when I heard a restaurant was opening up in decatur and was All Halal I just had to stop by. The menu seemed intimidating at first glance, so many different dishes I’d never tried but I was more than pleased with my experience. I had the chicken soto, the pandan pancakes and the tempeh all of which were delicious and pretty good portions too. I shared with my younger brother and we had plenty of leftovers. The flavors of the Soto were so light and herbaceous and the sides of hoisin, chili and pickles paired perfect. The pandan pancake was as big as my head and was delicious especially with that syrup and the tempeh was really delicious considering I’m not the biggest tempeh fan. I’m loving the restaurant and will be back very soon to try the more dishes on the menu!

Loved this place. Great for brunch and Southeast Asian food. I had the Rens omelette and it was outstanding. I had it without the hollandaise sauce for dietary restrictions and it was still so flavorful. My kids loved the Soto Madura and my husband has come twice and had the biscuits and gravy and then the roti bakar. All outstanding! We will definitely be back. I never had brunch food like this. Every taste is good on the palate. Budi and Bela did a wonderful job on the selection and creation of their dish. I would recommend everyone to try. You won’t be disappointed. Portion size is great.

Was walking around downtown Decatur this morning and stopped to look at this menu. Holy moly I am glad I did! I waked inside and ordered the Roti Bakar to go. Got home and it was DELICIOUS. Everything I want in a breakfast meal: sweet and filling, while also combining unique flavors. I've never had Malaysian cuisine before! I highly recommend this place! Very friendly service too! :  Note: The picture is only showing 50% of the serving size! The portions are huge! Excited to have some of this for breakfast tomorrow, too!

I was going to my internship meeting and wanted to stop by a breakfast place. I have eaten at budi’s sushi so I thought to get their sister restaurant. It was quite good. Admittedly the maple coconut cream was something I have never had before but it was a nice touch. Never thought I would have halal Turkey bacon so that’s nice. I will come again.

Amazing authentic Indonesian food ! Soto betawi ,  soto madura, pancake & mango water was so delicious. The good is well seasoned, great presentation and amazing service ! Everyone was so attentive & served a great food along with service. Will definitely be back for brunch ! Thanks Chef !!

Found out the owners of Budi’s sushi opened another restaurant. South Asian , Indonesian cuisine. Friendly staff like other locations and the food was delicious. I ordered the the Soto Kambing : goat dish and it’s amazing !! The kiddo the app chicken momo, so good she ordered another togo. Also had the grilled oyster mushrooms for an app. Anyways , food is delicious and something different. Will be back to try other items.

Super good food and super friendly folks. When we have been there, Sandy is always there to greet you with a big smile and information about the culture behind the food that they serve.  My wife and I visited Bali a few years ago and have been searching for Nasi Goreng or Mei Goreng ever since but it's so hard to find in Atlanta. Well Ren's got it and it's delicious. Exactly what we've been searching for.  Also, we're not typically biscuits and gravy people, but the waiter recommended them and I'm so glad he did. The house made biscuits are big and fluffy and the chicken gravy is lighter but still more flavorful than other gravies I've had that leave you feeling sluggish. The portions are large and were plenty for us to take some home.  Can't wait to come back!  Parking: There are some parallel spots in front of and beside the restaurant.

Incredibly delicious brunch and excellent service! Gravy biscuits and Ren Omelet with Salmon are a must try!
