My recent dining experience at this French restaurant was nothing short of exceptional. The staff and servers were truly amazing! My server Bianca gave great recommendations and the manager was outstanding- attentive, friendly, and genuinely cared for my concerns throughout this night. The environment was a true culinary delight, I had the crab spaghetti, mussels and dessert. The customer service here is dedicated to providing top-notch service and a memorable dining experience. I highly recommend this hidden gem for anyone seeking an authentic taste of France/Italian food with impeccable service! Thank you Cafe Renée for your great food and amazing manager+waitress! <3 <3 <3
Decided to come here to ring in my boyfriend’s birthday. Limited space available so make sure to reserve ahead of time. Staff were great, very kind. Our server went above and beyond to make our visit special. The beef tartar was not my favourite but loved the ravioli. Creme brulee espresso martini was also so good.Food: 4/5
I’d give the starters a 2/5 and pastas 5/5. The starters were quite mediocre - we got mussels & frites 2/5, and escargot ravioli 3/5. There was quite a bit empty mussel shells, and the fries were very hard. The escargot was just decent. The pasta, however, was amazing. Highly recommend the crab spaghetti! The martinis are strong haha The service was great, nice staffs with good accommodations. The ambience is great as well!
Not worth the hype. Food was average at best, very small portions. We had a terrible cramped spot to sit which I was really annoyed about given we were celebrating a special occasion. Nothing special, tons of better options in the city. We had the cheese sticks and steak tartar to start, which were just fine, average. And the ravioli , highly over rated I really don’t understand what the fuss is about, and the carbonara which was probably the best of everything we had.
Packed, loud, friendly service and decent food. I really enjoyed their regular espresso martini. For once, it doesn’t taste like a dessert. Wasn’t disappointed by the food but also wasn’t blown away by anything either. Will need to revisit to try out more of their menu. First visit take: not bad.Food: 3/5
Such a fantastic restaurant - we were celebrating a birthday here and the team went above and beyond. The menu has so many things I wanted to try, so it was helpful to get some recommendations from the staff, and everything was spot on! Definitely need to try their ravioli, it’s to die for. Loved the cocktails and the wine list as well. Will definitely be back to try more dishes.
We were able to get a table immediately at 6pm on a Friday which we weren’t expecting and served our dishes quickly. I got the Ricotta and Spinach Gnudi and both my friends got the infamous Ravioli du Dauphine. Portions were a little small for the price but pasta was rich super flavorful and filling. Didn’t care too much for the French Martini but it was the only happy hour martini on the sweet side. We shared the Fresh Berries Pavlova, such a unique choice of dessert and my first time trying it. Super cute restaurant interior and interesting choices why are the cups so tiny! Our lovely server Bianca had to come fill up are glasses of water a million times but she was so nice about it! Interestingly the restaurant doesn’t do takeout! Overall worth the hype and would return to try out more menu items.
My girlfriend and I had dinner here last night and boy were we satisfied. Shout out to Bianca for a wonderful service and experience. My friend had the Steak tartare and I had the Lasagnia blanca. My taste buds were aroused on the first bite of Lasagna. I would rarely order Lasagna but the Ragu is what drew me to it. It really tasted great. I highly recommend! Anyway, ambience was chill and we sure will be back.
Last night I found myself in cafe Renée as the second venue on a hinge date. After a bottle of wine at Paris Texas, we wanted to continue the conversation in a place with an effusive energy and positive atmosphere. We were pleasantly surprised when they had one table for two at the back for us. As we continued our evening in a booth, it was impossible not to be infected with the good vibes of the restaurant. All around us people were engaging in intellectual discussions, allowing us to simultaneously feel surrounded and alone in our little booth. After a delicious dirty dirty martini, and wonderful service from Cynthia, we decided to go explore the elusive speakeasy we have heard whispers about. We delivered the password to Cynthia and she led us to the secret hideout, few people have ever been. The speakeasy section was even cooler, with a dim lighting to set the tone for the clandestine enclave. We ordered the famous espresso martinis which came with a Guinness tuile on top. Whether it was the lighting, the atmosphere, the martinis or the company, but this was the best hinge data I have ever been on. I was about to delete the app, but now I am thinking of buying premium so I can come back to Chez Renée
Heard so many good things about Cafe Renée so we had to come check it out. I loved the vibe and interior, the staff has a cool uniform, and it adds to the atmosphere. Everything was amazing. All of the cocktails were delicious, especially the crème brûlée espresso martini. The food was perfect. My favorite was definitely the ravioli dauphiné and the tartar! But the mussels and branzino were so fresh as well, delicious. Emilia and Bianca were awesome, and their suggestions were great! I'll be coming back often!
