The action at this KOA centers on its spring-fed lake. Spend the day swimming and fishing for bass and pike. Rent a paddleboat, canoe or kayak. Soak up the sun on the sandy beach, get cool and wet in the splash pad or take a whack at the professional driving range or 18-hole mini putt with obstacles. Enjoy half-court basketball, horseshoes, sand volleyball and other games. Your hosts serve pancake breakfasts and cook up spaghetti and other meals on special holiday weekends. Oaks, maples and pines shade much of the campground and ripple with color in autumn. You're just an hour west of Ottawa, Canada's beautiful capital. Watch the Changing of the Guard at Parliament Hill overlooking the Ottawa River. Walk or bike along the Rideau Canal. Be sure to head back to the KOA in time to hear the loons herald the setting sun over the lake.
All holiday weekends are full of special events, and live music, dinners and breakfasts. Decorations and a good time will be had by all.
