I really enjoy the cheese, however I liked the old store across the street better.  This now is no longer a fun trip to Rentown, simply going to the store.

This store is located in a country setting surrounded by an Amish community.  When traveling on the nearby roads you should be careful and respectful of the Amish traveling more slowly in their black carriages.  My wife and I enjoy traveling to the Rentown Country Store to stock up on their cheese. They often have special prices for cheese as low as $2.00/lb.  If you are into cooking, they have cooking equipment and utensils commonly used by Amish women to make canned food, jellies, etc.

What a fun mix of old ways and new.  Lots of bulk items hard to find at chain grocery stores, plus extensive collection of kitchen gadgets.  Great cheese selection, good prices.

Great place for cheese and meat deals!  Been going here for years. Watch the weekly deals. They have insane meat deals often. Would have given it 5 stars but they are now charging 3.99% to use a debit card. This is absolutely a bad approach. Like all your fees you incur be it taxes or rise in food prices, this should be distributed among food costs and not incurred directly by specific customers. Since I travel far to go to your store it could be a deal breaker.
