My mom was recently in town and we had a free night to go out to dinner and we chose Restaurant North - we couldn’t have been happier with our experience. We sat at the bar because the restaurant was packed, which for my mom was a big step but the atmosphere was so great that she said yes to the idea. We had an amazing group of bartenders, I think their names were Luca and Anthony that made us feel at home right away. The food was great, we had chicken, pasta and dessert, the sundae was amazing, I can’t wait to go back. I just wanted to post something to say thank you for making my mom feel at home!!

I can not say enough good things about this restaurant! It was my birthday and I had 7:30pm reservations. Unfortunately, I got stuck at work until 9pm! I thought for sure my night was over being that their hours said open until 9:30pm. My husband called and they said to still come in! They were beyond sweet, our food was DELICIOUS!!! the service was amazing! We did not feel rushed at all. They even sent out a complimentary birthday desert. I can’t thank them enough for making my night so special. I will absolutely be a returning customer here! I Highly recommend this place!

The Chef knows exactly how to pair foods together. Not one thing I ate was short of amazing. Best meal I've had in a very long time and can't wait to go back. It's a bit of a drive for me to get there, but worth it. Food and service were top notch. Place was open, clean, and wheelchair accessible to get into. I didn't use the bathroom facility, so I can't speak on that. I was able to get in and have a great meal , with family.

I may be out of touch with trends today, but getting 4 scallops for $29 doesn't cut it for me. Nor does being charged $15 per glass for a Long Island wine. When I ordered the glass of wine, the pour was so pathetic that I felt the wine was being rationed, but apparently that's the way there. Service was average. Other than that, the mushroom appetizer was excellent. I remember having to wait for my reserved table for about 15 - 20 minutes a year or two ago, which is why I stopped going to what was once a unique, excellent choice of eclectic cuisine. On this Friday evening, we dropped by by chance and we're delighted to get a table. We were seated immediately. If their portions are ridiculous. If their wine pours are from hunger, they ought not to wonder why. They should find a better balance between pretense and unique.

We got a list of recommended restaurants in Westchester from a bunch of friends. Restaurant North was on the list. We checked it out in between dropping off and picking up a teenager for a school dance. The restaurant was really busy. They were very nice to accommodate us at the bar since we didn't have a reservation. The bartender was very friendly. The make excellent whole wheat Parker House rolls with nice salty butter. We especially like the fried maitake mushrooms with the charred scallion aioli. The scallops were beautifully seared. My dining companion loved his kielbasa and beans. The music was a bit loud so I might not recommend it for a quiet dinner. We would definitely go back again if we find ourselves in Armonk.
