We were seated 45 minutes late and over an hour after being seated, we still did not have our main course served.  People all over the restaurant were complaining and we even saw a couple get up and leave.  We were told they were having a special party in their private dining room for 45 people and that it threw their entire kitchen off.  Something like that should not happen at a well run restaurant.

This place is very nicely decorated and the staff is really nice and knowledgeable about the food. For how much we were paying, we expected it to be cooler in there, but I was literally sweating. 

My boyfriend and I got the tasting menu and we enjoyed most of the items, especially the shrimp and grits. I initially thought it sounded pretty gross, but after the first bite I was hooked. 

They give you a complimentary little dessert box at the end of the meal which is pretty cute, but the desserts weren't that great. 

Worth trying, but not worth $400 (between food, drinks, and tip).

Sat at Chef's table was a neat experience.  The Crab Beignets were awesome!  The seafood gumbo truly is award winning.  The seared scallops were great and the treats in the box were the perfect finish.  Service was impeccable.

The food and drink is great but for the price I expect nothing less than exceptional. My wife's homemade pasta was half cooked, half raw. They made it right by cooking another dish but I can't believe the initial order made it out of the kitchen.
