Their customer service is very bad. I purchased a couch and used their delivery people. I measured and it should have fit up the stairs. The two delivery men were very late and couldn't get it up the stairs and it was too dark to figure out any other way to get it upstairs. Also the underside of the couch looked like someone or animal had tore it all up. Warning - check underneath the furniture. So they brought it back. I had to pay delivery in both directions with CASH. They had to go back to the store anyways but I had to still pay to take it back. John in customer service said I could get store credit for only the couch but I definitely did not want to go though this whole ordeal again with this company and wanted my money back. He said no way they did not do refunds ONLY store credit. Amazon and most customer friendly companies pays for delivery and does refunds. This company does NOT. John said that was their policy and my policy is to try to get my money back and to complain what a lousy customer service they have. They still have the couch and almost $3000 of my hard earned money. Hopefully this review will help others.

The store had a good variety of peices. The prices were still high but to be expected knowing Restoration Hardware original prices.

I've gone to this store several times. Stock changes regularly so coming often is important. Great value especially when they have days where an additional 40% reduction on already reduced prices occurs. Carefully look at furniture because there may be blemishes or missing parts.

I'm totally shocked to read the positive reviews for this store online. I am a Restoration Hardware junkie, although, I'm becoming less and less of one these days as their entire business model is changing, but I digress. This review is for the outlet store alone. My husband and I have made several trips to this outlet from Orange County and I've left deeply disappointed each time. Now, I'm not huge on discounted shopping as I prefer this years styles and for my furniture not to be damaged or sat on and "skanked up" by everyone trolling through the store in the Long Beach area, so maybe I'm not the target audience for this venue, but I do spend a ton of money at RH, so take this for what it's worth. The condition in which I've seen 95% of the furniture in this store is poor to fair at best and the prices are marked as MORE than what you would pay for them online. For example, I purchased BRAND NEW from RH in their Fashion Island Store an 8' Belgian Linen Track Arm Luxe Sofa with Down Inserts for $2600 and had it custom made and delivered with white glove service direct to my front door for an additional $199. All in, $2800. I saw the exact SAME sofa in the outlet, however, this sofa came with the added charm of questionable stains and even a rip in the skirt of the fabric with a price tag that said "Original Price" $3750, our price $2,590....this was including the 30% off "entire store" that was marked. (Now, I've seen reviews that say the store is 40% off, but I've been at least 5 times and never seen the store more than 30% off). So, I just drove to Long Beach 45 minutes away, sat in traffic, drove around the parking structure for 15 minutes to find a spot, paid for parking, had to deal with all the people from the aquarium and IF I decided to purchase this sofa from the outlet, which would also require me to rent a UHAUL and bribe friends or hire movers to pick up, I would be saving a whopping $10 off of retail to buy something that is disgusting with stains and rips vs. paying $10 more plus shipping to have it beautifully wrapped and packaged and delivered directly to my front door. I just do not see the value or charm of this "outlet store". It seems to me as tho they are scamming people into buying beat up crap they received as returns or weren't able to sell for exorbitant pricing, which in my opinion, is just not right. A factory store outlet should be deeply discounted, especially if the quality you are receiving is substandard. I was in again yesterday to see if they had any of they holiday merchandise discounted, and again ran into the same thing. They had "Infinity Cashmere Scarfs" and I was considering purchasing a couple for girlfriends for Christmas. They price wasn't marked, so I asked the girl at the counter. She advised that with the discount, they were $59!!!! I pulled up the website and they are for sale (with the membership, which I have) for $39.00 each! I even showed her the website and asked how that could be....she smirked and said, "that happens quite a bit, actually". It appears to me that RH is running a little scammy--scam on a bunch of unsuspecting consumers that aren't very familiar with the RH product line and just assume everything is way over priced, so they MUST be getting a discount if they are buying something direct from the outlet. My advice to you, as someone who has a background in interior design and has furnished at least 50% of their home from RH is to not shop at this outlet. If you are set on something from RH, pay the $100 to become a "member" (which don't get me started on how ridiculous I think this program is, but nevertheless, it does save you money) which gives you member status for 1 year. During that time, you will receive 25% off all of your purchases at regular price and an additional 20% off of sale items. They have regular promotions for free shipping over $50 and unlimited furniture delivery for $199, and EVERYTHING you buy will be brand new and in first quality condition.

Great prices on quality furniture. Limited selection though, and most pieces have minor issues. Definitely buyer beware at this outlet as all sales are final. Great discounts, but be sure to thoroughly inspect the furniture before purchasing.
