My parents had their home retrofoamed and said it really cut down on the outside nose and sealed up their home great, cut down on their heating and cooling bill, we decided to go with Goldstar insulation in cedar falls ia, big mistake, couldn’t tell a difference, my wife was hanging curtains and pulled out a nail and she could feel the wind through the nail hole. Im not sure if they put any in the walls other than inside the garage where we could see the holes. So now we will have to get it redone with Retrofoam like we should have done in the first place. Wanted to leave a review on Goldstar but didn’t have aplace to do it, so i thought I would leave one here about my parents and my experience with the insulation and hopefully you read my review before trying to save a few bucks and going cheaper, its not worth it. Remember you get what you pay for.

I had my entire home, garage, and attic insulated by RetroFoam this week and am beyond pleased with the work. Fantastic customer service start to finish. Jeff and Diana, in the office, were awesome with answering all my questions and assisting me with filling out rebate. The installation crew, led by Shane, was: professional, courteous, and cleaned up after themselves. I have already noticed a dramatic difference in my home with how quiet it is and cannot wait to see how it affects my utilities. I highly recommend them if you are looking to improve your home!

Just want to say thank you to RetroFoam! Had my house foamed Dec 8th. They were there on time, did a great job! They cleaned up, the crew was polite. When they left , you never knew by the outside that they had been there! But on the inside, it was already warmer! Thank you again RetroFoam!

Process went very well. All the guys were great. They really were careful with equipment, not to do any damage. We did see one thing after a few days. The wood baseboard bowed away from the wall. Not sure if I can nail it again or I may need to replace it. It must have been from the moisture in the product.
