ReUse Industries is a non-profit organization that saves reusable materials from the landfill to support a sustainable economy, protect our environment, and create jobs.

Story

By diverting used materials from the landfill, ReUse Industries gives businesses and residents of southeastern Ohio an alternative to throwing away unwanted items, protects our environment, creates jobs, and provides low-cost products such as clothing, furniture, housewares, toys, electronics, books, office supplies and building materials for residents of southeastern Ohio. In our 19 years of operation, ReUse Industries has collected, processed, and provided back to the local community more than 10 million pounds of reusable materials.

Mission

To promote, support, sponsor and conduct economic development activities, including research, job creation, job training and business development, that utilize waste and discarded resources.
