I was assigned a public defender Martine Casey for a disorderly conduct arrest when I entered the Providence courthouse the police wrote a false police report and then claimed the video was erased I was able to convince the judge to recover the video and upon such found the police lied on the police report and then lied to the court and then I was found to be a conflict in The public defender's office and giving a court appointed attorney I find that interesting because there's no conflict with the public defender's office and the capital police who lied about the video and lied about a false police report I also spent 19 days in the ACI fall asleep thanks a lot public defender and keep in mind the judge the state's attorney and your defense attorney are all bar association members which is no different than a union they pay a union dues to the bar association to keep their card to practice and bar association courts these are not constitutional courts what type of attorney brings you a plea deal before you review the discovery the discovery is the evidence that will be submitted to the court for a trial that would be entered into a trial against you you would want to review any evidence or proof that you are guilty before you would consider a plea deal yet I was offered three plea deals before given my discovery these lawyers prey on your ignorance educate yourself on what to expect in a criminal court case simply Google it
These public defenders work for the state just keep that in mind i understand they are at no charge but they will really make you sign a life sentence for anything petty. Curtis fulyard is horrible these lawyers should be proving themselves as future lawyers making a respectfull name for themselves and that is not the case with this one. Even with payment wouldn't hire him.
avoid getting pd Philp Vicini at all costs. aside from his obvious laziness and incompitence, he is very dishonest and uninterested in doing his job, doclearly does not care about his clients. skum bag.. do not go through this pd office
Completely inept, impossible to get in touch with, and never truly have your best interest in mind. I'd rather be in debt with a law firm. Keep in mind, they work for the same people that are charging you with a crime in the first place.
