I took my 3 yr old to Ribbits salon on a Saturday afternoon to get his hair cut. We had been 2 times previously and he has had great service even though it is expensive. He enjoys playing while he waits and then “driving” the little car. We pulled into the parking lot and there were no cars, I thought they were closed. I checked the hours before we left and their website said they would be open till 6pm. We arrived at 5:25pm. I walked up to check the hours again (door was open) before I got my son out of the car. My son and I walked in and there was a lady at the desk who told me they were closed. I asked about the time and she said “It has been a really long day!” I was completely thrown off by this statement. She didn’t apologize at all for turning us away 30 minutes before they closed! So I told my son we had to leave which he did not understand, he just wanted to play. I had to take my crying son out of an establishment that obviously did not care one bit about the current customer. He was upset and I was mad!!! I told her we wouldn’t EVER be back. They must be making plenty of money to be able to turn customers away. I heard about this place through word of mouth. I’m not one to usually give bad reviews but I could not believe I was turned away from a business when there was plenty of time to do the job before closing. I won’t return and I will warn all of my friends with children not to visit this business. Unbelievably rude!!!

Of the four haircuts my son has received here, three have been poor. The most recent experience has caused me to not continue to give them my business. This past week I brought my son in for a trim. He was being very good, perfectly still, until the stylist took the scissors right above his eyes to trim his bangs not only scaring him, but leaving all the trimmings in his eyes and all over his face. His eyes got red and watery from all the hair in them. This cut was hastily done (we were the only ones there, I’m not sure what the rush was) and left lots of layers on one side, while leaving the other side long with little to no layers. Today I brought him back to see if they could mimic the layers on the side that was barely cut. The stylist was nice and said she would just give him a whole new cut to remedy the situation. I told her 3 TIMES that I did not want any additional length cut off, that I only wanted her to address the area that had no layers and to make it match the other side. After all was aid and done, she had taken another 2 inches off all over. Then she give me the excuse that she “had to do it” to fix the previous bad cut. No she didn’t. Now my sweet baby with long blonde hair has a short, not to mention ANOTHER hack job haircut. I was fighting back tears watching his hair fall to the ground. I am distraught because I was not ready for a “little boy” haircut for my 2 year old and am irate that she didn’t listen to or comply with my multiple requests to keep his hair longer.

Decor was very cute but I wasn't the happiest with the cut. Stylist really didn't listen to what I requested. They were also hard to get in tough with. I don't think it's worth the price.

We walked in at 5:06 on a Monday no cars no one there and the woman working there tells us she was “completely booked” and we wouldn’t be able to come in until Saturday. When we walked out she locked the door and turned the off the open sign. Mind you they close at 6.

Wow...rude rude rude. No answer when I called so just came on in. Walk in and we don't even get a hello or acknowledged whatsoever. We sit down and wait. One person is working and as soon as they're done, they leave. We are still sitting there..mind you we are the only people in there. I have to walk up to the desk yet again and tell her I would like to get my child's hair cut. She was so rude and acted so bothered that I was there, that we just left. I will take my business elsewhere, no problem!!!
