We are visiting Montana and decided to try out RICE based on good google reviews. It fell short on our expectations.. some of the dishes were excellent, service was unfriendly though. They brought out the entrees after over 30 mins and they all came super spicy and we can eat spice. When we entered the place, there was a sign of them being short staffed which could give them benefit of doubt. Love the decor, very authentic Thai like and I could find my favorite yellow curry in the menu
What a great place to enjoy a delicious Thai meal. Just passed through on New Year’s Eve as I was walking around to see what was open. Discovered this place, and ordered some takeout and asked for drunken Thai noodles with chicken to be extra spicy. They satisfied my order exactly the way I wanted it, and let me say it was a big portion of food also. Thank you for the great, prompt service and I will be back at your establishment when I pass through again.
Good Thai restaurant in Bozeman. Well maintained and clean. There was shortage of staff but they delivered our food on time. That’s pretty impressive. We went there for lunch on the way to Yellowstone. We ordered green curry with tofu, red curry with chicken, yellow curry with chicken, pad see iw with shrimp and mango with sticky rice for dessert. I would recommend yellow curry and pad see iw. Loved the dessert.
Fantastic service, food, and very reasonable prices for downtown Bozeman. If you like Thai Food, you should check this place out. I especially recommend the drunken noodle. Wheelchair accessibility: It is wheelchair accessible!
First of thanks for being open on Xmas Eve. One of probably only 2 places to be open. All appetizers soups we had were excellent and tasty. Pineapple fried rice was probably their best dish, very tasty and if you ask for spicy, they do take that seriously,so order accordingly. Drunken noodles hmm - it was not saucy, not that tasty or may be it's a different way of preparation, but I surely didn't like it. Desserts - best friend banana and coconut ice cream ? Yes probably Overall it was a great place except , you can eat here with confidence
It was edible, but less than stellar. Coming from a bigger city with an established Thai population, my standards are set very high, but it's really unfortunate that this is probably some of the only Thai food places Montana has to offer and even if I lower my expectations, it falls sort. Having such good reviews, I had high hopes. First of all, the fried won tons were a 1/5; they were literaly a pancake of plain pork, no veggies or other fillings, and the sauce was just a sweet syrupy thing, with very little flavor. And they fell apart halfway through eating them. The Thai red curry was very strange; I've never had a real Thai red curry have frozen peas and no other veggies in it. It normally comes with red peppers maybe carrots and Thai basil at the very least. I also asked for it medium spicy and it was not spicy at all, I had to request chili flakes to add. The fried rice was just salty, it had no other sauce or flavor really. And there wasn't any chili oil or sauces to add to it. Service was really mediocre as well, it seemed like the waitress didn't seem to know what she was talking about and got confused when I asked if the dishes had a spice rating. Only good thing I can say is it was a decent portion. Enough for leftovers. But it was pretty expensive at ~$20 an entre.
I feel bad for writing such a bad review, but I’m quite upset at my experience. This is truly the worst quality food in Bozeman I’ve ever had. Not to mention after a $60 ticket for 2 entree’s and an appetizer. My fried rice smelt REALLY bad, I could only take a few bites before needing to stop. It either tasted like the chicken had gone bad, or they just get bottom of the barrel chicken & then rob you charging almost $18 for it. I’d ask for my money back but based off of all the other reviews I’ve seen, they don’t care about their customers having a bad experience. Go to Thai Basil instead, delicious high quality food at a reasonable price. I will not be coming here again & will also be telling everyone I know to avoid this place at all costs.
Had a really nice lunch here. Food quality was excellent and service was very good. Great find and worth visiting. Entry is right off of main and is wheelchair accessible.
A pretty decent Thai place in Bozeman, really enjoy their curries. The drunken noodles were not as good as Thai Chili but definitely a lot better than Thai Basil!
Good food but if you order for pickup it takes forever! Seriously understaffed and the staff they do have are so slow! Everytime I would go pick up, the girl makes an excuse that she didn’t see the order so it’s not started until I get there so I’m done with this place. I would not recommend it at all. Plenty of other restaurants with good service
