I grew up in the buildings right next door. I still remember when Rice King first opened over here. My mom and I would make it a regular lazy night treat, and there food still takes me back to the happiest days of my life. My mom ended up in a nursing home while I was still young, she was there for the rest of her life and she ordered from rice king all the time. They would bring the food straight to her room. They delivered for her no matter how small her order and they knew her well and made her feel special. They get busy, you can't expect it to be all smiles and extra talkative service. That's pretty difficult when cooking such a large selection of foods for pretty big volumes of clients. But you can expect hot and yummy meals that stay consistent and wallet friendly.

Just all around nasty. Gross yellow rice they call fried rice. Fried dumplings were still semi frozen in the center. Whatever 'sauce' they use for general tso or sesame chicken is just thick and nasty. This was my first time ordering from here and it will be my last. Way better options available in the area.

Best Chinese in town, I think. Plus they're open to a little customization, which is always a plus.

Our of the sea of Chinese american fast food restaurants, this is closest to where I live, and is perfectly fine for locals who don't pick restaurants based on the online reviews.  If you have the appropriate expectations,  you will leave happy and full of tasty food.  If you are driving by and thinking "should I stop here on my drive from NYC to Boston? There are better options up and down I95 for about the same price. That being said, it is the closest to my house and I eat here all the time and I am perfectly happy with their food.
