Story

The Richard C. Sullivan Public Library of Wilton Manors is a full-service library offering a collection of over 40,000 items including books, magazines, and local and national newspapers. The Library also provides large print books, books in Spanish, music CDs, DVDs, audio books, and digital books and magazines. Internet access is available free of charge to residents.

The Friends of the Library is a private volunteer group that exists to enrich the cultural and educational opportunities within our community. The Friends provide funding for our extensive audio and video and digital collections and also sponsor Library programs throughout the year. Membership applications are available at the Library and on the Friends' website (FriendsoftheWiltonManorsLibrary.org).

The children’s room offers materials in a variety of formats, computers, and staff ready to assist students with their homework and research assignments. Ongoing activities include storytimes, craft sessions, and other programs for kids. Summers also are filled with activities and events. The summer programs are subsidized by the Friends of the Library.

For your convenience, a copy machine and a fax machine are available for a small fee. A free book delivery service is provided weekly to residents who are unable to come to the Library. Voter registration forms are also available. Broward County residents may obtain a library card free of charge with proof of residency.

Worse library I didn't have the physical library card but I have the actual library card number along with my ID. The librarian who's name I didn't get because she wasn't wearing a name tag stated "I'll let you use the computer this time without your actual card since that's our rules." I'm like if you allow it this once then it should be allowed all the time. I go to all Broward county libraries without my actual card and I register to use a computer with only the number with no problems. Me and my daughter kindly left that facility, I don't understand why people have to make and change rules as they see fit!

This library is very nice; it's organized well, good wi-fi, the staff is friendly & it's a quiet location....but it always smells like a locker room after gym class. I've had to walk out a few times the smell was so overpowering.
