I may have had one of the tough jobs these guys have ever faced. They were amazing! They got the job done, even though xcel energy and my house were tough to deal with. They were so professional and the job was done at top quality. Rick's is the only way to go. Plus the price and honesty is amazing. Thank you Rick's! Forget the negativity from others!

I had them put in a longer wire for our new hot tub.  They agreed to a 9:30 am timeframe as the hot tub installers would have it in place and needed electricity so they could set it up.  They sent the electrician on a more important job so he didn't get there until lunch time.  Since the hot tub access panels were no longer off the technician had to remove them and put them back on which took him 2.5 hours instead of 1 hour causing my bill for a cord that was 4 feet too short to be over $300.  I called and complained and they proposed taking a half hour off of the bill.  Now my 4 foot extension is only over $260.  I guess not being punctual to an appointment does have it's  rewards after all...

They didn't do there job the first time and the guy just came into my home without knocking..

I also had them do work on a hot tub. I had them replace the rigid conduit with flex conduit about 10ft. I was then given a bill for $392.  When I asked why it was so high they said that they had to re-wire the whole thing. I asked why, they stated that the old wire was too short. All they had to do was replace the rigid with flex, no length was added.  I talked to the service manager and he had no answers, he just said "that's what the tech wrote down".  I asked, why I wasn't called to authorize the additional work, he had no answer. I then asked where the original wire was (wire I had paid for previously), he said the tech probably took it.  So I have no proof the work was actually done, also they get 60ft of free wire. The service manager was going to check with the tech and call me back, that was over 2 weeks ago. So they are charging me for 3 hours of labor ($82/hr) and $146 in material, of which an hour of labor was for the tech to drive back to the shop for the wire that wasn't needed. I have worked with many vendors and they just seem really shady and after reading the other reviews, like to overcharge.  I would not and will not ever recommend them.
