We contacted Ridge Valley Exteriors to come and provide us with an inspection due to a recent hail storm. Paul Skeslock was the sales rep that came to perform our roof inspection. During the inspection he indicated that we were in fact in need of a new roof due to hail damage. Upon meeting with the adjuster to access the roof, the insurance company’s adjuster concluded that we did not have hail damage. After being informed of the adjuster’s conclusion I called and left a message for Paul because I had a few follow up questions. Rather than calling me, he sent a text stating the claim was denied because there was no hail damage. I immediately responded and said I have questions regarding that conclusion to which he did not respond. I decided to call to see if I could catch him considering he just sent me a text and he ignored my phone call again. Honestly, I am extremely disappointed because it seems as if he was just trying to make a sale. Once he found out the claim was denied he moved on without even granting us a courtesy call to let us know the specifics of what the adjuster said. In his profile on Ridge Valley Exteriors website it states that “His responsibilities include canvassing, following up with homeowners, and...” and that “he believes that having a roofer that can properly identify storm damage is key, which is how he was able to help a homeowner get insurance approval for a new roof when they had previously been denied!”. This was definitely NOT the case for us. I will never use Ridge Valley Exteriors, due to Paul’s customer service, integrity as a professional, and lack of roof knowledge. I seriously hope his supervisors address this issue with Paul so that future homeowners do not have to deal with his lack of knowledge and lack of professionalism.

I highly recommend Ridge Valley Exteriors.  Matt Bumgarner was the sales rep that came out to give me a quote.  He was always there at the time he told me he would be there and he was patient with all my questions.  He is truly an asset to the company!
I had gotten a few other quotes for my roof and Ridge Valley was the "winner".  They are a very professional company. I liked the way they show a video of their roof inspection.
The roofers did a great job and kept things clean.  I was impressed that they sent me a picture when they were finished, as I was at work.  
Need a roof, then you need Ridge Valley!

Had our roof completed yesterday here in North Carolina due to massive hail damage. From day one, Adam was extremely professional, helpful, and out there when we needed him. The installers came out and worked until dark and left the surrounding area like they had never been there! Quality work!

Our roof replacement project was handled by Kurtis Cagle of Ridge Valley Exteriors, Inc.  in Woodstock. This company coordinated with our insurance company, provided excellent product information with a number of choices, scheduled the workers, and completed the entire project in one day! The workers were incredibly efficient, showed up early and stayed late, set up the flow of work and cleaned up the mess; moreover, they gave our home a beautiful new roof that will protect our home for years to come! Kurtis was good to follow up and make sure all the work was satisfactory and complete. High quality, guaranteed shingles at a competitive price and reliable workmanship, installation, and follow-up - what more could a consumer ask?

After dealing with roofers for nearly two years we finally found a keeper in Matt B. and Ridge Valley.  Felt they were honest people.  The job they did was thorough and well done.  I have no problem recommending Matt B. and the people at Ridge Valley.  Give Matt a shot and you won't be disappointed.
