Mission

Making good art requires a great deal of knowledge, intelligence and practice. Our goal is to train our students to be well rounded artists that can make decisions, problem solve, think critically, pay attention to details, do thorough research, observe, use their imaginations, and create artwork with a passion and a purpose. These abilities can be taught and trained. At RBAA, with our specialized guiding map and project system, we give students the knowledge and tools to solve the difficult problems encountered when making a picture. This knowledge will help them think outside the box and become a non linear thinker. It is the practice and ability to think outside of the box that will help a person solve problems in other areas and disciplines of life. Making a picture is more than just putting together a puzzle; the creator not only has to put the puzzle together, they have to build the puzzle pieces as well.
We believe that with our organized training methods and communication, every student will have a more clear creative directions with the skills needed to reach and exceed their goals in art and life.
