Story

Rill Chapel, Pendleton-Gilchrist Funeral Home has been family owned and serving the community since 1906. Our new facility, Rill Chapel, was completed in June 1992 and is one of the most modern facilities in the state of Washington - beautiful, comfortable, and completely accessible.

We have years of experience caring for families, from all walks of life. Each family comes to us because they know we are leaders in our profession, dedicated to excellence in service, and have the highest integrity.

My father passed away 6 days ago. It's been very difficult for us but Ramon and his staff have helped so much to make this time more tolerable. They are patient, kind, and very attentive. There is no pushyness or hounding to get us to spend money; there is genuine care, concern and empathy. I sincerely thank Ramon and his staff for taking such a great care of my father and for being so helpful to us. I came to Kitsap county to visit with my dad but he passed before I got there. The visit instead was to Rills. A most difficult time was made much easier under the guidance of Mark Rill. Everything was absolutely thoughtful and respectful in every way.

When my Father passed away, it was one of the most difficult times our family had ever faced. The planning seemed overwhelming. Then we went to Rill life Tribute Center. They were amazing; they were compassionate, and helpful. When I think back on the memorial they put together, I smile, and think of how proud my Dad would have been of how his life was celebrated.

We attended a memorial service on March 14th, 2014. Great facility; it was apparent to us that the Rill's staff works with the surviving family to create the ceremony as envisioned, even surpassing expectations. Well done, and thank you! Bill Stratford Spirit Lake, ID
