Very nice clean beach. If you have a chance to get there I would recommend you go. Nice long stretch of public beach with a 1930s sunken ship that will take great pictures. The pizza from Flats was great and they also have coffee so great morning and lunch or dinner.

I grew up here at the wall. I remember when the cement ship was walkable. Pixie Deli is great!  Parking remains limited. The wandering river carries bacteria, so don't swim in that. Visitors might say the beach is nice but the area is run-down, however, locals love this place. My only complaint: dog owners who don't clean up after their pets. This is my home.

Great local beach.  Fire pits available Memorial day through Labor day. A couple of restaurants, convenience stores and public restrooms in the surrounding area.
