So much to do and enjoy in the mountains.  The main roads are well-kept and safe. Hiking trail signs are marked appropriately. This area is rapidly growing in popularity and travelers.

As with all National Forests, unlimited possibilities when it comes to exploring and enjoying the outdoors with mind blowing natural views that pictures just can’t capture.

Loved it and will come back.  Inquire with the local for bear activity, it can make for a very interesting 6 am alarm clock.

Camped at Big Meadow Lake at 9,400 feet. Snow on the ground just above the campsite. Loved it. Beautiful lake. Area's scenery is awesome.
