Great setting in a beautiful area. Large, comfy bed. Yummy breakfast. BUT the area is so loud! Walls are very thin and events at the neighboring restaurant sound like they're happening right outside.

What I like is that is nestled in the woods. Pretty quiet environment.  The room was nicely quiet. Bed was comfy.  I assume that Brett is the owner? Nice gentleman.  
What I disliked was the roads in the area.  Most locals take the narrow roads a bit fast and you have to drive most cautiously.  I suppose everyone knows everyone in that area.  You can get strange looks if you are new. But if you go into town you meet a few people that seemed to be in the 2016's. 

I really am neutral on my opinion.  I found nothing so great, and I was able to tolerate the not so great.  Going to Guerneville in my opinion,  is like going back in time a few decades or so.

I loved my stay here. Great bed. Spotless room. Quiet and beautiful surroundings. High quality complimentary breakfast. Easy drive to Santa Rosa or the coast.

Great small lodge across the street from the Russian River.  A short walk into gurnville.  Wonderful staff and accommodations.

Wow...I mean, wow!  My Dad was kind enough to book a couple of nights for us at this B&B the weekend before my wife starts Chemo, since we won't be going on vacation any time soon.  Given we have spent about 14 hours a day for the last week in exams and doctor appointments to make sure we can treat her life threatening illness, I missed the email that said we needed to check in by 8:00pm.  

The owner called us at 7:30, and we were an hour away.  He aggressively told us right off the bat that check in ends at 8:00.  When I explained the circumstances, he not only lacked empathy, he was dismissive and aggressive about it.  He told us he was cancelling our reservation, so we turned the car around and went back home.

I hope a year from now, after her treatment is complete, we can book a night at a B&B with an owner who isn't a real life incarnation of Joffrey Baratheon.

If you don't like funding inhuman jerks, find another option.
