Reviews
The museum looks deceptively small from the lobby but it does open up to spacious major wings at the upper floors, housing the rich and diverse collection of art from all over the world, some dating from antiquity. As expected, the narrative is design-centric, highlighting various aspects of design as they relate to art. We planned to be here for less than an hour but ended up staying for two. The admission fee of $15 is pretty reasonable. They also offer free admission every Sunday. There is paid street parking available but we didn't have any luck finding a spot and ended up parking two blocks north.

The place is small, but it's nice and you can see to many things. We came 10 months ago and now today we went again. You need to check in the page of the museum because they have different prices for different days of the week or weekend. When we went the first time I remember it was free, today you have to pay. So I recommend check the page before to come.

Very cool museum. Not huge so it doesn't take hours to walk through. Some really awesome exhibits. When we went they had a mummy in display. The employees walking the floor we're super helpful and answered all of our questions. The gift shop is pretty pricey though. Skip by that if you have kids haha.

We are so.blessed to have this museum in our city. It is very convenient, affordable, and manageable. There is a wonderful selection of art, while being a small enough size to manage in a half day. Take advantage of their Sunday discount to go as often as you want!

Went when it was free on Sunday (big bonus!!) and really enjoyed it. Lots of unique exhibits and very big, really easy to spend a few hours there! Would definitely come back when in Providence again.
