Went to pick up a western union yesterday and asked the technician to SHRED my receipt. She acted like she couldn't understand me or something so, some guy comes up, I'm guessing he's the pharmacist. He asked what did I need and I asked him, "can you please shred my western union receipt?" He looks at me, snatches my receipt out of my hand, tossed it in the TRASH, and walked away. Horrible. He needs an attitude check and needs to do the CBT on HIPAA. I work at a Rite Aid Pharmacy in Massachusetts so I know how it all works. I hope that's not the way he treats other customers. I will be back up there today to pick up a western union. If he's there, I'd like to see him put my receipts in the SHREDDER where it's supposed to go.

Horrible service, the staff lied and then tried to cover it up.

Person at register used her phone number for me to receive a discount on my cough medicine. Super great service!!!

The pharmacist, pharmacy tech's & all the store employees are very friendly and helpful.  They keep the store very clean and organized.

The head pharmacist was a nightmare to deal with.

I go to pick up my prescription, which should have been in liquid form, but the doctor had it filled as a pill. After explaining to the pharmacist that I need it in liquid form, she says there's no other option for me. Apparently it does not come in a chew-able and they do not have the liquid form of this available and can't tell me when it comes in. 

After talking to my mom, who is a doctor, she says they could easily get a different prescription, switch it to a liquid form, and shouldn't have tried to force me into a different form when I insisted on what I need. She contacted them herself and somehow, three hours after leaving the pharmacy, the head pharmacist gave me the correct prescription in the correct form. 

If it could have been done then, why couldn't she have done that when I was there hours earlier?! It seems that anyone getting a prescription should be firm with what form they need and do not take it otherwise and insist on them changing it. It's absolutely ridiculous and frustrating that the pharmacist lied and said the pill was the only option, yet, hours later, the liquid form that was back-ordered is now available after talking to my mom, since she knows what they can and cannot do. It seems that the head pharmacist did not want to help me or, above all, do any additional work. It's astonishing the people who are in healthcare sometimes.
