This Los Altos store used to provide reasonably good customer-service, but no more.  Prescriptions are now consistently late, more than 2 hours past the time when they're promised, and always with the same excuse that they're "busy."  (I've worked in both payroll & shipping, where things get "busy" all the time, but you still have to get them done on-time.) Moreover, this store does not honor a "first-come-first-served" policy for people waiting in line, choosing instead a person behind the next in-line, with no reason or explanation given.  It's not a one-off occurrence either; this has happened on more than one occasion.  So unless one enjoys an infuriating experience when picking up a prescription, shoppers would be well-advised to take their prescriptions elsewhere to be filled, and give this place a miss.  (The parking-lot's a nightmare from hell too, so you'd be better off anyway.)

All of the pharmacy staff at this location are amazing, go above and beyond, and are incredibly friendly! They make picking up prescriptions a pleasurable experience. I can't recommend them enough.

The pharmacist always goes above and beyond to help getting the prescription ready even if she has to call the doctor multiple times! She is amazing. So is the whole pharmacy staff :)
