The employee has an stinky attitude and her customers service also stinks. I came here on December 2, 2016 and the girl that check me out her attitude stinks really bad. If only I can rate an zero I would. This the rite aid on Jewella Avenue. Rite Aid at Pierremont they don't know how to have customers medicine ready. Call it in early and pick it up this afternoon and it wasn't ready now that just don't make no sense. Walmart need to teach Rite Aid how to have people medicine ready on time instead of waiting until they get there and then work on it.

Someone is dropping the ball there. Not having common meds available is bad enough, but to wait 5 days because "we haven't sorted through our shipment", is pretty disappointing. I know you can do better Rite Aid Pierremont.

I give them 2 stars because I like the sale section of the store but customer service is terrible. Management is incompetent due to age, maybe(pure speculation). I, as a customer, should not have to walk the manager of the store through how to use a gift card for part of a transaction and cash for the rest. I had the misfortune of having him as my cashier and for whatever reason he couldn't get the card to read when it scanned or swiped, so of course, I call the number on the back of the gift card (on speaker phone) to confirm the balance. They confirmed my balance and asked to speak to the manager. AFTER 30 FREAKING MINUTES ON THE PHONE WITH THE RITE "TECH HELP REP" HE STILL COULDN'T COMPREHEND HOW TO COMPLETE THE TRANSACTION. He told me he could not accept my payment so I couldn't get my Rx's and other items. I want to note really quick that i wasn't picking up vitamins. I was getting heart meds and though, I guess, it doesn't matter what I was getting... I still expected him to try every option as it was important and actually a life or death situation. I don't mean to sound melodramatic but it is what it is. After seeing that he was getting nowhere quick, since he just kept swiping the card hoping it would just magically work the millionth time, I politely ask to speak to the 'Help Rep' so I could get her info and get a number for corporate. She gave it to be and continued to tell me that the man must not have been doing what she asked. She asked me if he did several thing like reboot the system, which would have involved walking to another area but I guess this manager couldn't be bothered. She told me to step away and look for cashier. I found one. She relayed the instructions of how to fix it and low and behold - it worked. Surprise. Surprise. The company as a whole did right by me, They got my info and sent me another gift card except it was one of those prepaid visa cards. I did not make a stink to get free things or to make a scene. I expected nothing but to get what I came for and leave that day. I was assured that the manager would be reprimanded but it did nothing to change his attitude. Every time I come in he gave me an evil look and would go straight to the back which I assume is his office or maybe the breakroom. It doesn't matter. That man needs to retire or find a new line of work because I am sick and tired of him. This instance I am sharing now isn't the only problem I have had with him. He has stopped me and accused me of shoplifting so I literally emptied my entire purse, pulled out my pockets, and then asked if he was going to have the audacity to try to strip search me. I would have let a female do it because I had nothing to hide. Those are the two worst encounters with him over the last few years. There are more but this review has gone long enough and I think yall get the point. I will never understand why on earth they closed all the Rite Aids EXCEPT this one. The youree drive location was the best one by far. I would give them 5 stars all day/everyday! Sorry for the rant. I hope this helps yall in choosing pharmacies.

They will lie about your prescription being available. Needed a vital medication and was told it would be available in half an hour. Upon trying to pick it up two hours later, was told it had to be ordered & would be in after 12 the following day. At 1 PM the following day (today) went to pick up. Was told the truck had not come. Was forced to take my prescription back and will go literally anywhere but this dreadful place.
