Very few times in my life have I encountered human beings without compassion. We are out of town and my son needed medication. The doctor called in the script, notified us, and we hopped in the car. We called the pharmacy to ensure that they would stay the 1 to 2 minutes we would be late. He refused. My son will now be delayed 24 hours in receiving his medication because the pharmacist would not stay one to two minutes late.
