We live in a SMALL town & this is one of our two local pharmacies - I have been going here for 17 years when needed. 

Recently my husband had a medical issue & it was discovered that he was borderline diabetic - because of the issue a surgery was scheduled and they put him on temp insulin to get his levels in balance leading up to the surgery.  

Yesterday we came home from vacation & all of his supplies were waiting in our mail... except the syringes for his insulin (His insurance is the VA). 

So, I ran to Rite Aid to buy a pack to tide us over til we get the VA to fill the order. Well, apparently their POLICY is to not sell needles unless there is a prescription on file that goes with the needles. I have no need for a prescription because we get our supplies free through the VA (with the exception of a mistake such as we have today).

So, I went to our other local pharmacy (Vineyard Pharmacy) & they GAVE me a pack FREE and told me to come back if the VA wasn't fast enough with our shipment. They understood that it was important that my husband receive his insulin as prescribed... 

Needless to say I will no longer be using our local Rite Aid Pharmacy to fill my prescriptions. Lesson: In a small town even in 2017 CUSTOMER SERVICE is still an overriding factor on where I spend my money. And the word will be spread!

Great place to shop for last minute things while waiting for the pharmacy. Has clean public ADA restrooms. Friendly staff. Store is always clean and in order.

I went in to get some sudafed just prior to closing and the pharmacist was incredibly helpful, kind and patient.  The same courtesy was shown at the front end as I picked up the Thrifty Chocolate Malted Crunch ice cream that is always a necessity when going to RiteAid.

Not very much help. Went looking for activated charcoal,  for accidental poisoning,  and Rite aid does not carry it. The girl behind counter wouldn't let me speak to pharmacist to get recommendations for another product to help me.
