We really liked this place and regret not being able to stay longer. Very peaceful with a deer eating in the front yard when we arrived. Heavy trucks did drive by in the morning but we were up anyway. Walked the docks and watched the water life. Clean, solid furniture with rustic characture, nice wood laminate floors- (no carpet-no guessing how clean it is). It was all just as the owner said it would be. No surprises, decent price, and kind.

Great experience & value. Comfortable, clean, well appointed, and the bedrooms are roomy. Yvette made it easy to book.

This place was the best. Such friendly employees. It was right by the river. Walked out n Fisher and drank coffee. It was great. Highly recommend starting there.

The room was clean, the price was reasonable, and the furnishings were very nice, with a log furniture style to it.  The dining table was log based picnic table with benches. The bunk beds were fantastic, and the queen bed in the master bedroom was comfortable.  We totally enjoyed being able to cook our own meals there, and the size of the place kept our family interacting.  Being two bedrooms plus the main living area was great for both privacy and for having our whole family there.  Most important to my wife and I, though, was that the customer service was fantastic. The manager gave us her texting number, and was available even after hours to send us help when we needed something.  Due to our unique situation, she also sat and talked with us for over an hour about the town, and talked extensively with us while we planned our trip. She was extremely helpful.

There were small things that kept it from being five stars, but these were mostly aesthetics and/or unmet expectations that the manager had little or no control over, such as not having a yard, the tv being a little smaller then expected, and the view of the river not being as nice as I had hoped. The heater seemed to either be too warm or turned off, but it's on us that we didn't bring this to her attention. At least it wasn't cold.

I'd go back in a heart beat, and highly recommend the place. As the spring progresses, the view will definitely get better, I'm sure. But the important part is that the customer service will continue to be helpful and friendly.
