River's Edge Gallery is a custom frame shop, art gallery, and live music venue, located in an 1880's mansion in downtown Muscatine, Iowa.

Story

River's Edge Gallery is a custom frame shop in downtown Muscatine, Iowa. We provide design, framing and installation for artwork in a wide range of residential and commercial settings. We have a history of work with businesses in the banking, hospitality, and health care industries, among others.

Our gallery space consists of three stories in our 1880's mansion, from the main floor all the way up to the attic ballroom. We have a wide variety of artwork for sale, from ceramics and hand-made wood furniture to original and reproduction paintings, prints and poster art.

We also provide photo restoration/art reproduction and high-quality digital printing on a variety of fine art papers and canvas.

River's Edge is also a unique live music venue. On a monthly basis, we host national touring acts to an audience of 50-60 guests in a setting where the audience gets to be close to the performers and vice versa. It provides an opportunity to get to see a musical act in a sort of "storytellers" setting, while also engaging with them directly while not on stage. Our concerts are billed as "house concerts", where the guests are encouraged to bring their own beverages and food to share on our community table.
