I read the reviews but thought, "surely they've changed their practice" an scheduled an appt for my 4 year old and waited 40 min past the appt time. Then we get to the room, the nurse went over the chart, asked if I had any concerns then told me I can wait in the parent waiting area. I was surprised they'd expect me to leave someone so young with a complete stranger. I was very cordial when I asked her why they do that, she replied "for confidentiality for the other patients, it was dirty back (there) and that eventually I'd have to separate myself from my child like at school/day care". By her own admission, it was a dirty environment and she was going to have her fingers/hands in my child's mouth. No thanks. We came from a dental practice quite the opposite where we weren't allowed to leave our children unattended at any time. Also I had had some issues with a crown (was supposed to be a root canal but going in found the cavity too deep) for my other child that the dentist was having trouble getting it to set on correctly. There's no way I'm going to leave my child with a total stranger or let someone else make health/dental decisions on my child's behalf. How would I know, when my child came out to me in the waiting room, what truly happened back there? With all that's going on with children being trafficked and abused, I'm surprised they aren't doing more to protect themselves from a liability suit. Thankfully I've just found a dental clinic 1/2 hr away that allows parents to stay with the child.

There didin't seem to be anything out of the ordinary there. Check in was normal with a short wait time. The dentist cleaned my teeth very thoroughly and was friendly. The appointment was also for an impacted molar lymph infection. Then a doctor there examined it. He found cavities, and also referred me to Geisinger Health System for surgical extractions. That appointment is tomorrow 10/30/2017.

Had considerable dental work done over a couple of months. I love the efficiency and caring way my dentist and nurse cared for me. My wife will get her dental work done here.

My last visit with Dr. Yekalo Beyene was  horrible I was not treated  with respect, dignity or compassion and Above all, I was not delivered  care in the manner that best suits a patients' needs. He barley came in the door and the first thing he said was I'm not doing that he never asked me how I was doing or what was going on about why I didn't  want the shot  and wanted on a different medication then he threw it in my face he said you can go now I got to figure out how to return this 2000 dollar shot that you don't want that we already ordered  and have. He told me to go get on methadone for 2 years and i said I don't want to get on that stuff it's horrible then he said well that's my Recommendation and that's when he said you can go now. The whole meeting with Dr. Yekalo Beyene lasted about 60 seconds if that. He didn't  care at all if your gonna be a recovery doctor you should care about people a little  bit.

Love the atmosphere and somehow EVERYONE was nicer than any other medical facility I've been to before! Love it.
