We are a fully licensed, locally owned and operated community pharmacy and compounding center in Durango, Colorado.

Story

We offer traditional and compounded prescriptions for people and pets, medical equipment and supplies, over-the-counter products, BHRT and homeopathic and herbal remedies. With two licensed pharmacists and three certified pharmacy technicians on staff, we share an enthusiasm for quality service and care in a small community pharmacy setting. Easy prescription transfers, auto-refills and prescription delivery are also available.

Today I took my very sick chihuahua to the vet. The medications needed to help her needed to be compounded as my dog weighs only (4) pounds. My vet called Rivergate Pharmacy at 5:00 PM to see if they could get it done before they closed at 6:00 PM. There was only (1) pharmacist there but she said she would get it done and call me on my cell when the medications were ready. I was called at 6:30 PM and told to come to the pharmacy. The staff stayed until well after 7:00 PM to make sure I could get the medications. There aren't many pharmacists that know how to compound medications. This is the only one in this area that can. I still get a bit emotional this evening thinking about the staff being concerned about my little Tia and willing to stay there to help her. I know I will do everything I can do to make sure small, independently owned pharmacies stay in business. Thank you Rivergate! I am grateful and touched by you all!

Rivergate Pharmacy and Compounding Center is a local business that has HEART. They care about our community with their vitamin program for kids and they market with HEART. Thanks for being great Rivergate!
