Horrible experience 87 year old mother had the flu for 4 days went to urgent care and contacted her primary late on day 4 she was having no luck keeping liquids down called the doctor she said call 911. Palm desert station paramedic arrived and questioned why she needed to go! I said she hasn’t keep any fluids down for 3 days and she’s disoriented? Well he said her vitals show no sign of dehydration and you haven’t waited long enough for the medication to work ? I said with all do respect I just spoke to her primary physician who said call 911.... Well fast forward 4 days she’s still in Eisenhower was dehydrated had a dangerous low sodium level massive sinus infection that only could be solved at the hospital. Sad part is I felt like an idiot for calling 911 and really questioned my choice and almost let them go! The one thing the paramedic said that I will never forget when I told him her doctor said call 911 he responded well he’s just covering his butt! Overall I’m sure this will go nowhere can’t imagine a county official ever checking a google review ...maybe being Coachella weekend 2 these guys are dead tired but pretty amazing experience Thankful for following my gut!!

This fire station needs some kind of alert system they can't just speed out of their garage turn on their lights and blast the horn as I'm driving by.. and then come right behind me blast their horn and turn opposite direction of where I turned.. 😡😡😡 unprofessional and could get someone hurt because of their stupidity.. yes I realize it's a emergency.. please install some kind of warning lights like they have in La Quinta!!
