We spent a lot of time and money getting gifts for Spark of Love. My adult daughter and son took 4 big bags full of toys for kids today at 3:30pm to Station 13. They were proud as we all pitched over 200 dollars. Every year we do this and my daughter would take her dog and get a picture with the firemen, she usually goes to the Corona Fire Dept. but since we live in Riverside I suggested going to Station 13. She said the Fireman acted like he could care less that they brought the toys and just said there's the box. Not even a Merry Christmas or Happy Holidays to them. Truly sad, she was too afraid to ask for a picture. If they are going to have programs like this they should be thankful or st least nice.  What a grump, next time we will go to Corona Fire Department as they were friendly and actually said Merry Christmas and talked to them.
