Office was closed when we arrived. The owner did make arrangements for a camp resident to meet us and take us to our site. Owner came by that evening to collect but didn't have time to finish the process so left w/o collecting. We had no info on where restrooms, dumpsters etc were. Come morning we walked over to office to pay but office was closed. Had to leave our fee with a camp helper. Nice people but coverage of the premises was pretty bad. Never stop here again.

I contacted property via their online reservation request stating I wanted a pull-thru, full hook-up site 2 months in advance.. She responded via email that I was confirmed. When we arrived, there were no pull-thru sites available and she told me they were reserved for seasonal. She never stated that in her email. She also never stated that she does not accept cards for payment. Cash only. As for the property amenities, none of them were as stated on the website. The showers were dirty and were just a pipe coming out of the wall. There are no riverside sites. Children would be bored to death. Linda didn't offer any apologies for her miscommunication and smirked while stating, oops. Really? Go anyplace but here.

This is a very nice campground if you are a seasonal camper there. They are NOT set up for weekend campers. The web site leads you to believe there are river front camp sites available but these are only for seasonal. You have to call before arriving so Linda can meet you at the gate to "register" you in. The restroom/shower house have code locks but we were not given the codes. You have to pay for the showers and the men's shower was closed when we were there. There is no camp store so you have to drive into town to get even a little thing that you may need INCLUDING ice. There is no drive thru security and the seasonal s across from us were partying till 2 am! If your looking for a weekend getaway, look somewhere else.

Arrived at park and nobody in office. Called and owner answered. Said she was setting down to eat dinner and would be there in 30 minutes. Left and went to KOA in Sandusky. Park is not very well kept. Glad we moved on.
