Beautiful little park for the kids with a splash pad. Lovely walk up. Good fishing spot. 😁 I enjoy it very much. Pretty peaceful for the most part. They have bathrooms, they aren't the cleanest but it's does the job. Lots of homeless around the bathroom though. Other than that don't mind the area too much. I love it.

Great playground structures that are less enjoyable due to lack of fencing, and the water is right there. I always suggest going with another adult if you are bringing kids to the park. Splash pad is also just.. on, and out in the open, so bring a change of clothes even if you don't plan to let your kids get wet! Lots of transient folks hang out in shade near public restrooms, but they mind their own business and it's never been an issue for us. Once even a good lesson as we were able to share some outgrown clothes with a family there.

Lots of fun for little ones. Beautiful walking path on the river. Fun to look at the big boats/yachts in the marina. Ice cream shop. Fun water fountain for kids in the park and lots of jungle gym / moving activities. Pirate ship that sways back and forth for older kids and Merry go round for those who like them. Nice family area with gorgeous views. Lots to explore beyond what I mentioned.

Kudos to Bradenton for finally doing something right!  It's only 20 - 30 years later than any civilized community would have done it (like Sarasota, St. Pete or Tampa).  But better late then never I guess....

This is a nice walk along the Manatee with an ice cream shop, boating, group swings, parks, and a few other attractions like an amphitheater. 

There really isn't a lot for older kids though, and besides in the police station, there didn't seem to be any restrooms. 

It was nice to stroll around after lunch though.
