Reviews
All of the negative reviews concerning the actions of former principal Mark Rowicki and Stephanie Corbit are unwarranted. They dressed up as political figures for Halloween simply as a comedy stunt (although dressing up as Hillary Clinton in prison garb was definitely making an inappropriate political statement). The school itself and the quality of the education I have received is excellent; there are many opportunities to succeed at Lee High School, which include Dual Enrollment and AP classes to earn college credit. In addition, the staff are very helpful and are always ready to assist you if you have questions.

My daughter graduated from Robert E. Lee High this past year. Her experience was very positive. The teachers, counselors, and staff are caring. I appreciate the cultural diversity in this city school. The opportunities for AP and Dual enrollment classes are helpful, the fine arts drama program is a gem, and the athletics program is competitive. My son will be a graduate soon, too!

The students of Virginia's public schools should not be subjected to a principal dressing up like a racist misogynistic bigot and admitted sexual predator. This is a disgrace. It is not an example that we should set for our children. Mrs. Clinton has not been convicted of a crime and to dress her up as a criminal is appalling that's not how our justice system works. Both the principal and his secretary need to be fired.

Lee has a bad reputation, which is mostly unwarranted (I say mostly because everywhere has it's issues). The teachers were passionate, and the facilities were above adequate.
