This is hands down the best golf shop in the area. Bob is customer oriented, very very fair and honest. He goes the extra mile to satisfy his customers. Prices are reasonable and fair and if they don't have what you're looking for they'll find it or order it. If I could give him 10 stars I would. Treat yourself to a truly positive golf equipment experience and go there.
Bob has the most welcoming golf store in town. The best place anywhere to tune up your own clubs, get started in the game with some old used clubs, get last season’s clubs at a great discount, or to just kill a few minutes in town with fellow golf sickos. Skip the box store and go see Bob.
We where from out of state, in Pinehurst for the USKG Teen World Championship when my grandson broke his 6 iron shaft in his practice round. Took it to Robert's Golf Shop for repair. The staff was very nice and courteous. They had me talk to Bob and he was very knowledgeable and helpful. Had it repaired in a few hours. Highly recommend.
Bob has done so much for the young golfer by providing a service that no one would ever dream of. He has done some great repairs on clubs for us. We have purchase new golf bags there, sets of used irons, used woods, wedges. Staff is very friendly. We greatly appreciate this store.

Yesterday I had one of the best showings of customer service here that I've ever seen. I have a 3 year old who loves hitting golf balls with his plastic club set. I brought him in, was greeted, and said I'm looking for the smallest driver in the store. Every kids driver they had out was too big. The gentleman said he was going to go in the back to see what he could find. While waiting, I picked out a tiny wedge that fit my son which was $10. He came back with the smallest 3 wood he could find. Still a little long, but I said I'd take it. Asked how much and he says "it's our gift to him" my 3 year old. I was paying for the little wedge and floated the idea of cutting the 3 wood and re-gripping it to make it a tiny bit shorter. He checked to see if Bob was busy and he proceeded to measure my son, cut and regrip. I asked how much I owed and he said no charge. This place is fantastic. Bob and the guys actually want you to succeed in golf and care about your experience. I've bought a set of clubs from them and I'll buy more!
Good place but probably won't be open after Golf Galaxy opens
I recently bought a new set of clubs not from Robert's and wasn't sure if I liked them. They felt heavy. I took them into Robert's and Bob checked swing weight and frequency and explained the differences to me. Didn't charge me a dime! This is local, professional service at its best.
