This is a fantastic little museum tucked away at the end of the strip. It tugs at your heartstrings and makes you proud to have had such a wonderful man representing our hometown Pittsburgh Pirates. There is so much to see here and so much to learn... Impossible to see everything in one trip. Definitely a great private tour. Highly recommended for all sports fans in general as there is far more than just baseball and Pirate memorabilia here... Learn all about Roberto & his family, his childhood leading up to his career as a Pittsburgh Pirate, all of the wonderful things he did for other people in the world, and ultimately, the tragic accident that took him from us. See documents relating to his time in the military, the first contract he signed with the Pirates and his first meager salary, photos from his wedding album, outfits he wore and sports equipment he uses, art he created, historical pieces from Forbes Field and Three Rivers stadium... And SO much more! There are countless fascinating things displayed in this unique space, which was a firehouse many years ago. Great way to spend an afternoon with friends, family, or out of town is looking for something interesting to see and do in Pittsburgh.
An absolutely amazing experience. If you are a history fan or humanitarian Roberto was an even better humanitarian than baseball player you will enjoy it. If you are a baseball fan of any kind, you will love it. If you are a Clemente fan, then this is an absolute must stop and you will be joyfully overwhelmed! Vince was a great guide and made the experience special. Staff and leadership are terrific and very gracious. This will be a regular visit for me on every trip to Pittsburgh.
What an amazing place! Vince was our tour guide and wow what a job he did telling Roberto Clemente's story; very moving, inspiring and informative! I highly recommend this tour whether you are a baseball fan or not. Schedule your tour and be prepared to be most impressed with the all you learn about a man who believed in service to others and giving his all, including his life, in order to help his fellow man! Fantastic!
One of the greatest museums I’ve ever visited anywhere, let alone in Pittsburgh. I might even call it better than the Baseball Hall of Fame given the quality of the guided tour. The tour guide was an encyclopedia of stats and stories about Clemente. All materials were preserved very well and you really get a chance to immerse yourself in the history. You leave with a greater appreciation for the kind of man Clemente was. The wine cellar was also a phenomenal touch and really brings the modern game of baseball into this historic place. This museum is a must-see for every Pittsburgher, Puerto Rican, baseball fan, and humanitarian.
Amazing!!! Most definitely one of the best museums I have ever visited. The tour was fantastic and the collection was impressive to say the least! Everything here is so well done and such a great tribute to number “21” The whole family loved it! Thank you Tim Charleston, SC

I have to say if you come to Pittsburgh and love sports history you must stop at the Roberto Clemente museum. The gentleman who gave us true tour was wonderful. The knowledge and emotions given in the stories made this the best baseball experience of my life. You can feel the history in the building. Absolutely marvelous.
An amazing collection of items from the life of one of the greatest ballplayers and people ever. I couldn't see everything there was on display it was such an extensive collection, but it's not to be missed. Whether or not you're a fan going in, you're likely to be one when you leave.Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedYesPrice for adult entry$31+
Unbelievable experience reliving the old days in MLB. He died so young. They make wine here to and all sorts of memorabilia for sale. A must see in Pittsburgh.
Great place to visit. Highly recommend especially if your family is from Puerto Rico. The tour guide was informative and you leave with a sense of pride. A big plus is the wine cellar in the basement and the owner was actually there churning grapes and explaining how he makes his wine. A must visit!Visited onWeekendWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedYesPrice for adult entry$16–20
