Please fellow construction workers do not rent from them!! We own a roofing company in this town and have vowed to never use them again! My parents rented a storage shed from them, the unit got robbed of everything that they Owned! They never received a call to let them know! When they arrived at the storage unit they where told they had to pay for the month before they could go inside to see what was stolen (everything)! I will make it my mission in life to shut them down!

Lucky for them, this requires a minimum of a one star rating!. I rented their "heavy duty" tiller for 2 days to prepare my garden for the 2010 season.  The plot had previously been maintained using a small tractor that is currently being repaired.  I first rented a 8hp rear tine from Tri-County rentals for $40/day but needed something a little bigger. I was a little weary about choosing Robinson when they told me that their equipment was going to cost almost $90/day and wasn't much bigger than the one from Tri-county.  My husband and I decided to give them a try on their Saturday special running from Sat. 8am-8am on Monday. Unfortunatly, I had to return the piece of equipment on my own which in my opinion is why I had such a horrible experience with the personnel of this company.  The man gets in my truck and immediatly grabs the handle bars and violently shakes the whole equipment (and my truck).  Within 30 seconds of his attending to my return he states that there are bolts missing and I will be responsible for an extra labor charge. After watching him return the Man's equipment before me, I also noted he did not shake his, and did a quick walk around followed by a run up to make sure the engine worked and the blades rotated unobstructed.  So why did he immediatly shake mine, as if he knew they were missing?I was not there when it was picked up so I have little to go on; however, their agreement clearly states a renter is not responsible for normal wear and tear occuring during proper operations.  Unfortunatly, I did not know the crooked company I had rented from would charge me an additional $25.00 in labor and bolt replacement cost for their "heavy duty" equipment that couldn't even handle a simple garden.  I was a mechanic in the military for several years and I will say this much the 30 min of labor is ridiculous, if I ever took 30 mins to replace two bolts that were within plain sight and reach, I would have been fired!    I would just say be very carefull doing business with this company and take pictures and video of the equipment you rent for your own protection. I will never do business with this company again. I spoke with the "manager" and she had no intention of listening to the customer, clearly her employees are always right, and they did not honor their contract of damage occuring doing operations because she said they couldn';t be sure if we were using it properly.  That's fine but if that was going to be my company policy I would be observing the customer so I WOULD know how they were using my equipment.  If the bolts were lost in my possesion, their equipment is worthless, falling apart while using it in a simple home garden, and I would not want to risk a major malfunction cost of repair.
