Roche Bros. has a good selection of products at a fair price.  Their staff is generally pleasant.  Good meat dept.

Although I have only been to this location a few times I grew up going to Roche Bros.  This location was much larger than the one I was used to. They had a much larger selection of food and the departments were larger as well , especially the fresh fruits and vegetables area. One particular thing I respect about this company is that they seem to go out of their way to hire people with disabilities. These employees always have a smile on their face and go out of their way to remember your face and your name. The one thing this company has spoiled me on is that after they bag your groceries they bring them out and put them into your car. If you try to tip them they will refuse. It's the kind of extra service that makes me come back time and again.

Nicest selection of food in the area. Produce is always fresh, fish great, and their meat department.

People complain about the prices and I will admit that they can be higher than other stores.  That said, they have a great gourmet cheese selection and some of the best party trays around.
If you buy things on sale the prices are decent and there is a huge difference in service.  Unlike many competitors, they do everything possible to ensure that customers aren't wasting time in huge lines or bagging their own groceries due to staff shortages.  
It's still my go to store when I need something quickly
