Cheaper than any other storage that I have found In the area. Buildings are very well made. Had security cameras and convenient gate hours. Only down side is there isn't a light inside my unit, but the outside is very well kid after dark. Am happier here than at other facilities I have rented from in this area. Feels like my belongings are safer.

I just wanted to update reviewers on some of the information shared in other reviews. I have been at Rock Castle for 3 years, and the free truck rental situation is as follows: The truck is offered one day "for free", up to 30 days from the day of your becoming a customer. This means the rental fee, and mileage fee is waived, and customers are ONLY RESPONSIBLE for replacing the gas used. I hope this clears up any misunderstanding. I can't confirm or deny the review from 7 years ago, because I was not here then. I have a unit here, but since I work here, I am giving a neutral 3 star rating, so as not to seem biased. As for the "bug review", the young woman was the girlfriend of a customer, and came to me very rudely, stating she had seen a large spider, and demanded that I come search through their full unit to find it. I explained that I could not go on a wild goose chase through all of their belongings to find a spider. I reminded them that the units are like any standard garage, and thus, are not sealed completely. I have never had any other complaints or customers claiming "infestations", and I myself have a unit here. I wouldn't store my things here if there was an issue, as I have antiques, and I've had no problems in 3 years. It's also worth noting, that the young woman and her boyfriend that were"so unhappy" with the "infested" unit, are STILL customers here.

Rented units at this place for about 6 years. Never had any problems with staff or the units themselves. Occasional spiders here and there, but no mice! If so, I would have moved immediately. Easy access, convenient location, and liked having the gate and camera. Nice to have access to the moving truck when needed.

I've been renting a unit here for just over a month. When I moved in, I used the truck that they have. It was nice not to have to rent a uhaul or anything like that. Must cheaper too, only had to pay for mileage. My unit was decent when I moved in. I didn't have to do any cleaning, it was move in ready for a storage unit. Overall, I'm pretty happy with Rock Castle Storage.

The storage facility is nice but we had a misunderstanding when I moved in. I found this out when it was time to move out. I was initially told that the truck was free to move in and then it was 60 cents a mile to use. That was great, I wasn't going to use it moving it but that was a great deal for moving out. When I tried to check availability for moving out I was told it was against policy to use the truck to move out. I was to I misunderstood initially, it is free to use for the first two weeks to move in. The sign on the truck I was told said it was "free, some restrictions may apply". The translation is "free" = 60 cents per mile and the "may" in 'some restrictions may apply" = always. There are no exceptions to this 60 cent rule on their "free" usage. The disappointing part of all of this is the owners unwillingness to work with me on this, perhaps charge me a little more or make some kind of a deal for the misunderstanding, after all I would be driving he truck around advertising it some. It basically felt as though they had the "tough luck but we've got you" attitude.
