Rock Port Elementary School (K-6) feeds into Rock Port High School.EnrollmentIn 2012, Rock Port had 105 students in the high school and 19 teachers.Notable alumniHardin Cox, a 1945 graduate of Rock Port High School, was born in 1928, served in the Army, stationed in Japan during post World War II, and is a Korean combat veteran. Hardin played football for the University of Missouri, including an appearance at the Cotton Bowl (1946). He is a former state representative (5 terms), and senator (8 years). Hardin was a supporter of a bill that became known as the Dinger-Dickey-Cox bill, which enabled the building of welcome canters along the interstates and highways that are along the border of the state. He was also a creator of the Missouri Tourism Commission. Zel Fischer, a current Judge on the Missouri Supreme Court is a 1981 graduate of Rock Port High School.
