I've attended a couple of events held in Rock Quarry Park, so I have only seen the field  in the park and its surrounding areas. It's a lovely park with plenty of green space - perfect for a picnic or a Frisbee game. It's located adjacent to Duke Regional Hospital and the Army National Guard facilities. Rock Quarry Park is also right next to the bike path, so it can be a lovely Durham biking destination.

I was a vendor for the DP & R Canine Field Day and things were very well organized. It would have been nice to have bathroom facilities available but that isn’t surprising in a municipal park.

Love this Park, always so quite here, a great place to come and mediate and reflect on decisions in your life and just go through some deep thoughts. A great place to take long walks with a friend or even have a quite picnic. This is a rare gem in Durham county. Really love this place!!!

2 big dog parks where dogs have plenty of space to exercise, run, and play. Nice K9 memorial in there also.

Nothing to write home about for most of the park. Lots of shade. There are a couple little hiking trails less than a mile around. There is a tennis court and playground. There is a very nice Vietnam memorial there, even a memorial for k9s lost which taught me something new. There is a dog park.  Dog-friendliness: There is a dog park. Some seating. It is all mulch/wood chips, if you go after the rain it will be very muddy. There are some uneven spots so water will pool. Lots of space and two different areas for small dogs under 30lbs and large dogs.

My dog, Lumi, loves sniffing along the trails and playing in the wooded bark park.  Dog-friendliness: There's a decently sized dog park, with separate enclosures for large and small dogs, along with a water source for thirsty pups.

Saw KRS-One and other acts live at the Bimbé Cultural Arts Festival.

The most improved park in Durham. Let's skate!

We went to an event which was very nice. Had a great time. What I saw of the park was nice. There were a lot of people there. Parking is right across the street.
