The nurses in day surgery were the best. They were proactive and positive. I was expecting less because I have been used to the big hospitals in Atlanta but they were better! Good job! They gave my daughter the best care they could. Thanks

Life on the staff at this Hospital to be very incompetent of keeping things organized. We have been waiting for over 5 hours for blood work and when my husband goes up to ask them about it they said they're waiting for a room for him to see a doctor. My husband says about the doctor has already saw me and he want a blood work done because he can't access the situation and my care without seeing blood work results. A few minutes later they call him back for the blood work. He tells them and the doctor that he has pain in his arm between the elbow and the wrist and instead of looking at that and next train. They want to x-ray his shoulders and neck. And then they were mentioning to him that they want to give him fluids but my question to him why would they be giving him fluids when he's not dehydrated and less he needs antibiotics but they can't answer that yet. This Hospital needs serious management control here to get things organized and get the staff better at doing their job and keeping things organized and orderly manner. How did they think a doctor can access what therapy of patient needs are medications without getting test results from Labs or x-rays. I was totally shocked when the doctor said he wanted to see X-rays and blood work done and they sent my husband back out into the writing room until they were ready to do the blood work and x-rays. In hospitals that I have been in before they have staff members that come to the ER that take care of your x-rays in your blood work are they take you down to where you need to go for them. What would have happened had my husband had fainted while they were moving them around having him to stand up and walk. This Hospital clearly needs someone to come in and reevaluate how they do and operate this system.

I have had terrible experiences here. I have had doctors here mock me about my illnesses and the DEBILITATING pain I live with every day. Dr. Jordan is the only reason I gave ROTTdale three stars because my dad and husband said I was taken care of well. This usually isn't the case. THANK YOU Dr. Jordan for taking care of me and keeping my family calm. I hope Piedmont make this place better.

ER experience for my mother was fantastic. Dr. Gillespie was very thoughtful, knowledgeable and took a lot of time with us and other families. Much better experience than the ER visit I had with my mother a month ago at Newton Piedmont Hospital.

NEVER GO To THIS HOSPITAL. Its a joke. I went for a migraine got there at 6:30 pm and still was sitting out in the waiting room at 10:30. They have no compassion for people. No one was being hepful as to even giving a estimated wait time. Very short staff. Before i was even seen they wanted to order a CT scan,  just wanting to run a bill up. They should be shut down. No organization or system in place to operate a ER properly. My advice if you can take a longer drive to Emory you will have better luck and a better outcome. This is a DEATH TRAP!!!!!
