- food was ok, it had good flavor but my food wasn't very hot when it came out. - staff were friendly but not very good at really serving, it took 15mins just to get my drink and another 40mins to get food which was just barely warm "I was 1 of 3 people here at the time, so not busy" . Also never came back to check if anything was needed. - prices too high for service and food quality. - parking can be limited during certain days /times. - overall not a great first experience at this location.
Dolly & I agree that this place is pretty average. Here are a list of items we tried: buffalo wings - dry/stale af. Rocket Burger vegan - EXTRA SPICY, fries- basic/oily no crunch. My friend had the shrimp and grits. Said it was okay- not changing lives. The decor is pretty dark, customer service was good but could be better. For example, we asked the waiter about an item on our plate and he had no idea what it was that included the vegan burger. It's giving diner but with VERY basic food. I imagine it to be lit at night.
Fun little place with awesome food! We liked how we could seat ourselves and order through toast from our table. We got the pierogies to start and the onion crema for dipping was perfect. For our entrees we got the shrimp and grits and the a1 burger. Both were flavorful and very well balanced. For dessert we chose the fried PB & J, which was heavenly! All around a great experience!
I've been multiple times and never had a bad experience. Food is good. Every vegan or for me, vegetarian because i use the dairy option I tried was delicious and didn't taste vegan. The staff is cool and they seem genuine. The place plays all types of music and the art work is different every time I go. I recommend!Food: 5/5
The food was fantastic. My main reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that there wasn't really any "service". We sat ourselves which is fine, I don't mind that, but there were not introductory cups of water, no waiter to meet/ tell your order. You had to scan a QR a code and pay before you got your food. And once our food was brought out, that was the first and only time anyone checked on us. Also I don't mind heavy metal, but I think it was, tooooo loud. Hard to have a conversation without yelling. It's not bad just not my preferred vibe. but if I ever just wanna sit and eat and not talk to anyone than that's the place!
To order food, you have to scan a box to get the menu and order online from your table. We did order by walking to the bar from the bartender. He was very distracted. No waiters. Someone dropped food, and we never had contact with anyone after that. I wanted water and was told it was at the end of the bar. Someone dropped the bill off. We paid at the bar. Mabe, it's a city thing....the food was good, but no thanks. Oh, and why would we tip?
Good food and drinks. Service was kinda weird because it’s all digital. It’s helpful for ordering because you can continually make orders throughout your time. However, we needed napkins and couldn’t find anyone walking around to ask. They have bathrooms and a nice bar. It was a cool setting and a good place to go with friends, family, or on a date.
I have been going to Rocket to Venus for over ten years now and I can say I’ve never had a bad meal there. I’ve also never ventured too far out of burgers or bahn mi with some fried pickles or a pretzel. It’s a bar first and a restaurant second. Stick to the bar/bar adjacent food and you’re going to have a great meal. On top of that it’s got a good selection of beers and everything is priced right. I hope I’ll be coming here for decades to come.
Not a fan of the order online only deal, verizon service was super slow so had to wait a looong time to get anything in. Still asked for a tip too which I dont quite understand if its all an app waiting on you. I hope the staff isnt dependent on tips as it seems they have no control over the "service".Food: 4/5
The food is mid. The wings were decent. Our drinks, food, and appetizer all came out at the same time. The customer service is awful. The bartenders let their loud, drunk, obnoxious friends sit at the bar and scream all night. They serviced their friends and ignored paying customers. Maybe that’s just the late night vibe. I’d be willing to give them another shot during the day.
