This place should get a NEGATIVE rating but sadly it is not possible on Google.

We ordered a Birthday cake for our daughter and were shown a picture on their website (see PIC#1 in the review). The online cake looks professional and certainly worth the $70 price tag. However what was delivered looks like something an 8 year old baked in a toy oven.

The owner has a variety of ridiculous excuses ranging from "The material used in the online cake was different" to "The online cake is bigger than the one we baked for you". Not once were we offered an apology or a credible explanation. FALSE ADVERTISING? Absolutely? Pathetic Customer Service? For sure!

We should have read the online reviews from other ex-customers with similar experiences prior to ordering.

Don't make the same mistake we did, STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!!

This review is not for the cupcakes, which looked pretty good- alas I will never try them because I had an interaction with the staff here that boggled my mind and I will definitely never return. This location has an entrance within the Papa Joe's grocery store, and a door that leads from the store to the street. I was doing some shopping at Papa Joes and passed through the lobby of Rockin Cupcakes to go to my car- as it was convenient. As I was making my way through- a woman loudly proclaimed "CAN I HELP YOU?" I responded "JUST PASSING THROUGH,THANKS" to which she rudely/obnoxiously/somewhat irately retorted "PAPA JOE'S EXIT IS OVER THERE". Now I don't normally take issue with rude people, but this woman seemed to be making a game of scolding anyone who exits through the cupcake shop. Maybe this woman was having a bad day, I don't know- but she made my day worse. If I owned this shop, I would use my location within the popular grocery store to my advantage- greet the passerby etc. Discourteous and in poor taste.

Very tasty cupcakes. Get there early like I did. I bought all of my favorite flavors and that meant anyone coming later missed out. Don't let that happen to you. :)

Bought two to bring home for my daughter and I when I was in the area.(no cupcake places in our neck off the woods) Worst cupcake we've ever had! The frosting is terrible. Its greasy, gritty (sugar) and sickening sweet not to mention way to much icing for such a teeny little cupcake and over priced for what it is! Very disappointing!
