Story

My name is Susan Barnes and I have been a Real Estate professional now for over 22 years, living and working in the Disney area of Florida (Kissimmee/Orlando) since 1992. I sell businesses throughout the entire State of Florida, and homes in Central Florida and Miami.

I am proud to say I won the Top Award for the Business Brokers of Florida for 2013 selling the highest number of businesses.

I have a husband and three sons, all involved in the business with me and I enjoy helping people achieve their dream of living in America by assisting them to obtain Visa qualifying businesses in addition to selling Real Estate.

I enjoy gardening, particularly growing Orchids and Roses, which seem to do very well here. I also love music, especially the 70's disco as it is so full of life and makes you feel good. Freddie Mercury and Queen are a particular favorite and it is great to be in the car on my own and join in with him when one of his songs is played.

I am originally from Nottingham, England, where I ran a similar business with my husband who is a qualified Builder. This has been extremely helpful to me as he is on hand to assist with any questions customers may have about property construction and any issues they may wish to address. My husband served an apprenticeship as a Carpenter/Joiner in the UK with a major construction company and worked his way up to become a Contracts Director, prior to moving to Florida with our three sons and an Irish Setter by the name of Jasper.

We thoroughly enjoy living and working in the Disney area and have been fortunate enough to grow our business by helping others achieve their dreams.

I am delighted to say that I have won numerous customer service awards over the years as well as top sales associate, highest number of sales, for the Central Florida area of the Business Brokers of Florida for the last 4 years.

In 2012 I am proud to say I became an American Citizen and I am very patriotic, supporting the USA and the troops who defend this wonderful country. I do my best to thank them any time I get the chance and support the Wounded Warrior Fund as well as helping out Veterans periodically throughout the year.
