Enrich the resources of the Library

Story

In these days of tax caps, the Library budget is very tight. The RVC Library Friends comes to the rescue! We raise funds to sponsor programs and projects as well as purchase anything from Summer Reading Club prizes to projectors and scanners. Have you enjoyed free entry to museums? Those passes are brought to you by the Friends. How can you help? Participate in our fund raisers, become a member, volunteer!

Was not able to spend much time here. A large, closed off children's room and a small, cozy, secluded 4 chair quiet corner. Periodical stacks were mediocre in titles. May give it another star if able to get back here and spend a bit more time discovering its virtues. Building and grounds fairly uninspiring.

Excellent professional and very courteous staff. Located in a lovely neighborhood with easy access to main roads and public transportation.

This library has been a staple in my life as I grew up in the town. It's absolutely beautiful and is extraordinarily maintained. Yet it has gotten quite noisy over the past few years with employees and patrons seemingly running to and fro. Conversations can be heard throughout-- All in all it's still one of my favorite places to be.

They are beautiful people that work here. They go above and beyond and are very knowledgeable.

The RVC Library is an excellent local library. The Librarians go out of their way to help in recommending good books, DVDs and other items. If they don't have what you need, they look for it in the Nassau system. Very helpful. I've attended several excellent adult programs, one for drivers not only sharpened my skills but I was able to get an insurance discount. I think of the RVC Library as the town jewel, and the best value around.
