Great food a beer! Try the onion rings or battered fries with your burger. There is a dining area and a bar area with pool table. Great service.

A former bordelo, among other past lives this quaint log cabin building is just about on the Idaho-Montana state line on Hwy 93.

The interior atmosphere is in stark contrast to the rugged experior.  It is warmly lighted, cozy and has a very fine menu along with a full bar.  And the food is bery good.

A great place to stop for an early dinner after skiing at Lost Trail ski area, about 8 miles distant.

Driving at night in Montana is most always an adventure, esp in the winter as deer, elk, mountain goats and the occasional moose wander onto or graze nearby the highway.  Drive on the center line to give yourself some reaction space and don't drive fast.  Everyone in the car needs to be alert to critters.

And you can still get a room for the night in one of the tiny log cabins adjacent and behind the restaurant.

Love the Rocky Knob. We eat in and take out often. All the employees are very friendly but our favorite is Francine. Makes the best martini in the valley. Food is excellent, service is quick.

The food, the people, and the waitress all great. Friendly place where you know you're in the great state of Montana because of the smiles.
